1. About Resio

Resio is a Swedish travel company specialising in hotel bookings worldwide.

These travel terms and conditions apply to all hotel bookings made through Resio's website and authorised sales channels.

2. Agreement and Booking

By completing a booking through Resio, the customer enters into a legally binding agreement with Resio.

A booking becomes binding when:

Full payment has been received by Resio
A booking confirmation has been issued by Resio

The customer is responsible for ensuring that all information provided at the time of booking is correct, including:

Name of all guests
Travel dates
Contact information
Any special requests or requirements

Any errors must be reported immediately after receiving the booking confirmation.

3. Hotel Bookings

Resio offers hotel bookings through accommodation providers worldwide. Resio is responsible for managing the booking and ensuring that the accommodation corresponds to the information presented at the time of booking.

Accommodation services are provided by the respective hotels and accommodation providers.

4. Prices

Prices are continuously updated based on availability, demand, supplier pricing, currency fluctuations, taxes, and fees.

The price displayed at the time of booking and stated in the booking confirmation is the valid price for the accommodation booking.

Once a booking has been confirmed, the price will normally not change, except where required by law or in the event of obvious pricing errors.

5. Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.

The booking is confirmed only once full payment has been received.

Certain rates and promotional offers may be non-refundable or subject to specific cancellation conditions. These conditions are presented at the time of booking.

Resio reserves the right to reject or cancel a booking in the event of failed or declined payment.

6. Changes and Cancellation by the Customer

Changes to a booking are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.

Cancellation conditions depend on the rate and accommodation selected. Certain bookings may be non-changeable and non-refundable.

The applicable cancellation policy will be presented during the booking process and included in the booking confirmation.

7. Changes or Cancellation by Resio

In exceptional circumstances, Resio may need to make changes to or cancel a booking due to circumstances beyond our control, including supplier issues or obvious booking errors.

If a significant change affects the booking, the customer has the right to:

Accept the alternative offered, or
Cancel the booking and receive a full refund.

8. Accommodation

Accommodation standards and classifications are based on local regulations and may differ between countries and destinations.

Room allocation and special requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed unless explicitly confirmed by the accommodation provider.

If the booked accommodation cannot be provided, Resio will, where possible:

Offer an equivalent alternative, or
Provide a refund in accordance with applicable legislation.

9. Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for reviewing the booking confirmation and ensuring that all information is correct.

The customer is also responsible for complying with the accommodation provider's rules and policies during their stay.

We recommend that customers obtain appropriate travel insurance covering cancellations and other unforeseen events.

10. Complaints

Any issues relating to the accommodation should be reported directly to the accommodation provider as soon as possible to allow the issue to be resolved during the stay.

Customers should also notify Resio without undue delay.

Complaints must be submitted to Resio within 30 days after the end of the stay.

11. Limitation of Liability

Resio's liability is limited to the total value of the accommodation booking unless otherwise required by mandatory law.

Resio is not liable for indirect damages or losses beyond what is required under applicable law.

In such situations, compensation or refunds may be limited in accordance with applicable law.

13. Dispute Resolution

These travel terms and conditions are governed by Swedish law.
